Event Details:

Mosul, Iraq — June 2026 — Al-Hadba University, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, hosted the third edition of the Ministerial Program for Training Smart Learning Platform Trainers (IQ-LEARN TOT³), held on its campus from June 7 to June 10, 2026, under the theme “Toward an Integrated Digital University Environment… with the IQ-Learn Vision.”

🎯  A National Step Toward Digital Higher Education

Over four days, Al-Hadba University welcomed a distinguished cohort of academics and trainers from universities across northern Iraq, equipping them to become certified trainers on the national IQ-Learn smart learning platform and reinforcing the university’s role as a regional hub for digital transformation in higher education.

🤝  A Ministerial Partnership

The program opened with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, the Iraqi national anthem, and Surat Al-Fatiha in honour of Iraq’s martyrs, followed by an introductory video on the IQ-Learn platform. The welcoming address by the President of Al-Hadba University and the keynote by the Head of the Ministerial Delegation set out the strategic objectives of the program and its place within the national digital education agenda.

📚  Lectures and Discussions

The first day’s sessions explored blended learning in higher education and the principles of sound design for electronic courses. Subsequent days addressed digital transformation, the shift from rote instruction to active learning, building flipped-classroom pathways through the platform’s Lesson feature, and employing interactive forums to strengthen students’ critical-thinking skills.

🧪  From Theory to Practice

Each day combined lectures with hands-on laboratory sessions, allowing participants to apply what they had learned directly on the platform. Later sessions focused on designing assessments that support the student’s academic journey, creating transparent and fair assignments, and guiding learners toward success through self-directed learning rather than direct intervention.

🏆  Closing and Certification

The program concluded on its fourth day with a commemorative group photo and an electronic examination through which participants demonstrated their readiness as accredited IQ-Learn trainers, ready to disseminate the platform’s tools and pedagogies within their home institutions.

🚀  Commitment to Digital Transformation

By hosting IQ-LEARN TOT³, Al-Hadba University reaffirms its leadership in advancing modern, technology-driven higher education in Iraq and its dedication to building an integrated, future-ready digital university environment.
